Sophia is an experienced life coach, yoga teacher, mindfulness practitioner and menstrual cycle awareness mentor.
Sophia has a Certificate and Diploma in Life Coaching from Mindstream. She works using an integrative and holistic approach, combining various techniques including the GROW model, Neuro-linguistic Programming, Mindfulness-based Self-Compassion and visualisation. She has a special interest and expertise in coaching for creativity. If appropriate or desired, Sophia also weaves in aspects of Menstrual Cycle Awareness into her coaching practice and guides her clients in living more cyclically according to their bodies’ own natural rhythms.
Sophia has been practising yoga for nearly two decades and has been teaching since 2012. With a strong background in dance, yoga always felt very natural to her. Whilst studying in Trinity College, Dublin she was exposed to a wide variety of different styles of classes and teachers through her work on the committee of the Trinity Yoga Society. In 2010 she embarked upon a 500 hour 2-year training programme with Yoga Therapy Ireland. This YTT course has a focus on yoga’s therapeutic and mentally and physically transformative power. Sophia believes in the importance of inclusion in yoga and works to make yoga accessible to everyone regardless of experience, body type or physical condition.
Sophia is based in North Wicklow, Ireland, between the sea and the mountains. She has always had a strong connection with nature and the cycle of the seasons and weaves this connection into her work.

Yoga and mindfulness practices and classes to help relieve stress and anxiety, reconnect with the body and clear the mind. My teaching style focuses on healing our relationship with our bodies and allowing us to live in an embodied way with full respect for our physical forms.

Pilates
Pilates classes focused on posture and alignment, developing stability in the core muscles and conditioning muscles around the joints for functional strength and optimal movement.
