“We don’t use our body to get into a pose, we use the pose to get into our body.”

Yoga with Soul Classes

I have a 9-week course starting on Thursday the 2nd of February at Luisne Centre for Wellbeing in Bray, from 6.15 to 7.30.

The class will be suitable for all levels of experience and informed by the therapeutic approach to yoga. I believe passionately in molding the yoga to fit your body rather than the other way around. We will gather every week for an hour and 15 minutes to enjoy some mindful movement to connect body, mind and soul, followed by some nourishing breathing practices and finally a soothing deep relaxation to have you leaving feeling calm and grounded.

Our first class on the 2nd of February will honour the goddess of Brigid and welcome in the spring and all that is waiting to awaken within us.

I don't tend to make new years resolutions or feel the need to jump into new routines at the start of the new year as I feel we're still all in hibernation mode but with the coming of spring and the (slight) lengthening of days in early February I feel more called to get out and try new things, so this is why I decided to stay in the gentler, slower pace of winter for the month of January and start this course just in time for Imbolg/St Brigid's Day instead.

Imbolg which literally means in the belly or womb is traditionally for sewing the seeds of what you'd like to manifest in the coming year, just as the seeds are starting to germinate in the soil all around us in the natural world. This is therefore an ideal time for manifestation, starting new projects and building new habits.

Spaces are limited so please reach out here or via phone or email to book a place.

My Yoga Teaching Style

My approach to yoga is all about embodiment, about using yoga as a tool to land back in our bodies in a way that we can feel and respect and rejoice in our physicality.

Yoga for Teens

A gentle class which explores foundational yoga postures, flow and the union of movement and breath, all designed to help teenagers build resilience, self-awareness and a groundedness in their bodies.

Happy Bodies Dance Classes

A dance class which allows children to move intuitively and creatively to music that they love. This movement practice will help children to feel safe to explore the capacity of how their bodies can move and help them to feel more present and playful in their bodies.
